At the Dale Demonstration Farm south of Huron, Craig Veldkamp of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) discussed different soil types and their functions.
Back at the Huron Event Center in the afternoon, Kent Vlieger of NRCS presented on the five principles of the soil health system. Soil Health School continues Tuesday and Wednesday and will return to Huron in the fall of 2025.
